Our Story

Lynde Tilley Carlyle is a native of North Carolina, graduate of UNC Charlotte.   Lynde relocated to the Florida Panhandle, Sandestin, FL in 2005.  Lynde is a former resident of Delray Beach and Daytona Beach. Eagle Public Adjusting Group’s main office is in Flagler Beach where Lynde currently resides.  

In 2018, after a successful career in Real Estate for over a decade, she started in the Public Adjusting Profession.  Lynde began her career with Hurricane Michael (strongest hurricane on record to hit the Florida Panhandle and only the second known CATEGORY 5 to make landfall on the Northern Gulf Coast and the first hurricane to make landfall in the United States as a CATEGORY 5 since Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

Lynde was “boots” on the ground days after Hurricane Michael hit, The devastation that she witnessed fueled her desire to become an INSURANCE CLAIM EXPERT, protecting homeowners and business owners’ dreams that they worked so hard to achieve. Lynde is currently representing commercial properties to include Hotels, Restaurants, as well as residential properties affected by Hurricane Ian and Tropical Depression Nicole.

Initially, Lynde mentored along with the most well-respected Public Adjusters in the industry.   To date she continues to alliance with her mentors.  They motivate one another to be the BEST in the industry with high morale protecting the insured.  Lynde has also a proud member since 2018 of The Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) staying current with up-to-date statutes and law changes.

Lynde has been involved with either Marketing, Managing or Adjusting Claims with a proven success rate of over 1000+ LARGE LOSS CLAIMS including, but not limited to: Restaurants, Hospitals, Hotels, Marinas, Condominiums, Multi-Million Dollar Properties, Aviation, Shopping Centers, Warehouses, Chemical Plants, Historical Buildings, Personal Residences as well as Retail Shopping Centers. In addition, Lynde has a 99% success rate in closed claims that have gone through the appraisal process.

Lynde also has extensive experience in Business Interruption as well as adjusting claims which include Major Hurricanes, Fire losses, Tornados, Wind, Hail, Pipe breaks and other perils. Her expertise is putting claim packages together with a specialized team of professionals, with proven results, that use cutting-edge technology, reporting, and expert witnesses that are successful in getting the insured paid.

The Eagle Public Adjusting Group name is inspired by Lynde’s late Grandmother, Ruby Marie Eagle.  An Eagle Represents Strength, Focus, Truth, represents Honesty, Justice, Willpower, and Integrity.  All of which was instilled into Lynde throughout her childhood and adult years.
